Issued by Richard May, Transition Manager for Orbit ICT Partnerships.

E-Safety is integral to our safeguarding of pupils.  Children are taught how to stay safe when using the internet and information regarding our e-safety policy can be found in our E-Safety Policy. The school’s internet connection is via an Educational Internet Service Provider and therefore both children and staff can be confident that they are able to access the Internet safely.

The school is well equipped for teaching this subject – we have a well-resourced, dedicated computer suite comprising 15 touchscreen computers and there are networked computers in every classroom. All classrooms have Interactive Whiteboards which bring an added dimension to the children’s learning.

In addition each classroom has access to ipads, digital cameras and video cameras and other technology e.g beebots https://www.bee-bot.us/ that support their learning in all areas of the curriculum.

The children have access to a variety of on-line multi-media, video-rich educational resources enhancing the whole of the Foundation Stage and KS1 Curriculum.
